How to get rid of THESE AWFUL PESTS in your home

FLEAS, BEDBUGS & CARPET BEETLE

Suspect you have fleas in your home?

  • Have you noticed red welts on your legs or on your pets?
  • Have you seen tiny black dots on your family pet?

How to get rid of FLEAS?

The flea treatment will be applied throughout your home. The flea eggs take 4 to 6 weeks to hatch. The full strength of the treatment needs to be there to kill the flea once it’s hatched.

This is why it’s important you only pick up big spills for the 4 to 6 weeks following the treatment. If you mop and vacuum the floor, the full strength of the treatment will not be present. This is why it’s extremely important to refrain from cleaning the floor for 4 to 6 weeks.

You also need to access rooms that may not be used a lot after the treatment. Movement causes the eggs to hatch and not sit dormant.

At this stage, there’s not a treatment that will kill the flea while in the egg stage.

How do I prepare for FLEA TREATMENT?

There are some simple steps you can do to prepare for our visit and ensure the flea control treatment works well.

  • Vacuum all carpeted and non-carpeted areas and put the contents of the vacuum cleaner into a plastic bag, seal it and bin it. This ensures re-infestation doesn’t happen. Mop all non-carpeted areas.

  •  Cats or dogs will need to be treated as well to prevent re-infestation.  It’s important to break the life cycle.
